Zeppelin Universität (ZU) in Friedrichshafen on the Lake of Constance is a state-recognized, private university with BA, MA and PhD programs in the fields of business, culture and politics. It is committed to interdisciplinarity, internationality and individuality in research and teaching.

We are currently seeking to fill six PhD positions (m/f/x, 65%, fixed-term for three years) in disciplines such as International Relations, Political Science, Public Administration, Economics, Management, and Psychology, starting 01 January 2027 as part of an open-topic call. Alignment with the university’s research priorities is strongly encouraged.

Tasks

  • Participation in university activities (research, teaching, administration)
  • Teaching (3 SWS)
  • Contribution to academic publications
  • Independent research within the framework of a PhD project

Profile

  • Excellent Master’s degree
  • Strong interest in pursuing a PhD
  • Excellent methodological skills and interdisciplinary orientation
  • German skills are an asset but not a requirement
  • Prior teaching experience is an advantage
